I have worked on a grand scheme of preferential second homes for the wealthy. All frames are based on panalized timber frame system, but being such a bespoke systems they look so similair but each has its own distinctive loads paths.

Lake side elevations are generally steel frame, with the rest of the build being timber frame. Structural floors are metal web joist system to aid to the routing of services throughout the building.

These projects where very involving, not just a simple structural build, but also involved specifiying the window systems and detailing, also the larch cladding profles were machined by the local firm supplying the frame.

Another detailing exercise on these jobs was to include for the stainless steel balstraude systems around the lower and upper terraces. All designed in huse, and sent off for beoke manufacture.
