I graduated with BA (Hons) Industrial Design in 1999. After a few years in Design led roles in retail display systems and furniture design, I joined the Construction Industry in 2004, initially as a Design Technician for a Timber Frame Design & Manufacturing Company, in Hereford. I quickly established myself in this industry which has seen steady growth and with even stricter building regulations, is commanding an even bigger market share from traditional builds.

In my first Timber Frame role my attention to detail, good organisational skills and enthusiasm involved me in implementing a new software system to work seamlessly between the Design Office and Factory. I proved myself as a Senior member of the team and I was also involved with internal training of Design Technicians for the Timber Frame Software.

I have been involved with other companies in a prestigious site of second homes in the Cotswolds. The Lakes By Yoo was a very challenging design & build project, with some extensive steel frame elements as well as a whole timber frame package including specifying all windows and cladding detailing.
 
I have worked on a vast range of projects from self builds, small sites for local builders, large sites of 70-80 houses, Care homes over split levels up to six stories, School building projects involving large glulam detailing, traditional Oak Frame and steel structures.

 

We are a member of the STA and have been granted Assure Silver accreditation.
